The company was founded in the beginning of 1978 under the denomination KALOUDAKIS MINAS, when Minas Kaloudakis takes over the representation of the German company PFANNI HELLAS and the distribution of its products (dehydrated culinary products: potato purée, croquettes, broths, soups etc.) for the four prefectures of the Cretan hôtelière market, for which the specific products were destined. The quality of its products on the one hand, as well as the personality of the owner on the other hand, result in the continuous increase of sales and the overall progress of the company since the very beginning of its creation.
The company enters the market of patisserie and bakery artisanship not before September of the same year, when it begins to represent the confectionery company SIBEL, which produces the famous “Kotzak” lollipops and almond dragées. The collaboration with the chocolate factory OSCAR, existing until today, follows. Since then, daily and direct contact with the clientele of this market has highlighted problems and shortcomings in the day-to-day supply of its stores, which up to that time was taking place from Athens.
